Second in-person general assembly in Granada

From February 19th to 21st, CO-SUSTAIN partners came together in the beautiful city of Granada, Spain, for the project’s second in-person General Assembly. Hosted by the University of Granada, the three-day meeting marked an important moment to reflect on the project’s progress and chart the course ahead as CO-SUSTAIN enters its second year.

Representatives from all eight partners across seven European countries gathered for a series of presentations, as well as collaborative working sessions and workshops. The agenda included virtual exchanges with our Project Officers and updates from our sister projects, DEMETRA and RETOOL.

Key discussions focused on finalizing the work on the 18 Historic Examples, advancing the organization and structuring of the deliberation panels, and engaging in workshops around Multi-Level Perspective visualization and participatory mapping facilitation. Partners also explored the Impact Assessment Framework and discussed the six case studies.

A particular highlight of this meeting was the site visit to one of CO-SUSTAIN’s featured Historic Examples: the Energy Community in the Rural Municipality of Monachil. There, participants met with representatives from the City Council, the Municipal Energy Office, and the Provincial Energy Agency.

Do not forget to check out a few pictures of the meeting below!
